Kolkata Metro app provides various information to the users of Metro Railway Kolkata and has all the salient features that they need. Following are the different sections in the app and the information in them.

STATIONS: provides comprehensive details of all the 24 stations respectively. Such as it specifies the area belonging to the station along with a map mark helping the user to find and navigate to the station easily. "Places Nearby" helps the user to find important places in its vicinity.

FARE & TRAVEL INFO. provides a simple interface to calculate the fares between stations. This layout will also specify the total distance, travel duration, intermediate stations details and service timings between the two selected stations.

NEAREST STATION: displays the nearest station from the user's current location. The user can easily navigate to that station by using the navigation feature powered by Google Maps.

TRAIN TIMES: displays the next 5 train timings from your selected station, the arrival time and duration to reach your destination station.

LIVE NOTIFICATIONS: New Live Notification Feature by which the Metro Railway authorities can notify users of any exigencies.

SMART CARD: All Info about various types of Smart Cards available in Kolkata Metro Service.

METRO INFO.: Some primary information about the Metro Railway of Kolkata

HELPLINE: contains all necessary numbers needed in case of an emergency along with a dedicated Woman Helpline Number with direct call facility.
